What sealed the National Geographic relationship with the Bell family was that Mable and Alexa... Sun, May 06 2012 Dine and Sign Episode 32 (Deaf Awareness and Bad Parents)

Hearing Sparks I have been happy to see that recently movie theaters have been stepping up the game when it comes to accessibility in my area. I wanted to take a moment to talk about Captionfish as a great resource when it comes to finding accessible, captioned ... Sat, May 05 2012 UK Deaf Week
At The Rim Another damp squib ? It would appear the last 8 years few if any deaf have taken even a partial interest in it, with the BDA and HI community running 'different' weeks to accommodate their 'own' sectors, despite deafness and loss not being defined to either one of them. When asked why deaf people were apathetic even to raising awareness of their own nee... At The Rim I was reading 'Read Hear' today (Which is an text-based weekly update area on British TV), and was unsurprised at comments that a number of people want 'in-vision' sign language removed from late night 'deaf accessible' TV, until an '888' option was available.
