How successful is cochlear implant?
Filipino Deaf from the Eyes of a Hearing Pers My last post made me think deeper. Are cochlear implants proven to have a high success rate? The reason why I'm having serious doubts is when I was putting sub-titles on the video, I'm having a hard time listening to the speeches made by those two kids who have undergone the implant. So instead of deciphering what he is saying, I simply put [inaudible speech].

My old nemesis "Tinnitus" is back with a vengeance. He, (Mr. Rin Tin Tin), pretty much went away after activation day (May 1st). But his other b...

The debate had deteriorated into choice, a hearing or a deaf child ? then they started slagging each other o...
