Fernandes and Jordan has to go!

Recent events showed the innate nature of hidden oppression perpetuated by the so-called inter-mediators toward the Deaf Community. They are the worst villains of our age. Who are these inter-mediators? They are those Deaf people, or people working with the Deaf, who anoint themselves as inter-mediators from the 'hearing world' toward us claiming that they bring joy and good news from outside into the community. But all they really bring about is misery. They claim they possess knowledge from the 'real world' other Deaf people are not aware of; therefore they are entitled for leadership position among them. But their leadership is foul, destructive and mean spirited.

Oppression?

Inter-mediators view themselves as having messianic role while peddling on the border of two worlds, trying to take advantage of one against the other. But in fact, their messianic route leads to desperation and doom. They claim to have unique knowledge while their Trojan horse is pushed amidst the community wreaking havoc for the sake of sheer controversy. Their Trojan horse is the symbol of decline, deprivation and demise. While they claim to act on the interest of the community, they actually build a 'paddy wagon' around it so that community members became separated and have no reach to make their presence visible outside of the community. But keeping us paddy-jailed for a lifetime is just their evil plot to subdue us. The paddy wagon is to make the Deaf more deaf by isolation from the world, so that the inter-mediators can offer their leadership as 'charity'. But what is sold as charity to a clueless outside world, is in fact a way of taking away all power from the community inside.

The door is locked, who is on the paddy wagon?

Then they start their evil course of oppression by blocking the communication between the paddy wagon and the 'outside world'. This is their way to rid us from our human right of being heard. Whatever is coming out of the wagon is filtered by their vicious screens and the meaning of the words is distorted so that the message becomes limp. Thus they dehumanize us in the eye of the outside world. They monopolize their access to hearing media so that they can paint us at their favorite color. But their colors are lies, deception and intimidation. They trap the Deaf by the very special feature that we are a linguistic minority. It is an utter act of humiliation because of our pride of using a form of communication that is different from that of the hearing world.

This reveals the inter-mediators as tools of blatant oppression. They are, in fact, part of the Apparatus of Oppression. They are the appointed governors of a colonized community. Their duty is to please the colonizers by providing bounty while they are making sure that the colonized are robbed from all their values and will never walk free. They say they only want to build us a nice future. But that future is the future of colonization, the future of subjugation. All they want is to rob us from our future. They say they are the only people who know what is good for the community. But in fact, that 'good' is not for the Deaf, but for their own personal gain they receive by selling the colonized and caged community to their overseers.

Breaking free

It is time to overthrow these inter-mediator oppressors who mask themselves as leaders, and break out of their paddy-world of mental anguish and sheer terror. They say they will sit down and listen to us, because this will heal the community. But they really think we are whiny infants who only need some 'motherly' care. They say they won't resign, because they are entitled to lead us. But in fact, they already squandered their authority and there is no more legitimacy in their rule. They say they are good leaders. But in fact, the essence of their very being is to let us down. They are the worse of Audists. They are wolves in sheep clothes. We can't have anything common with them. They have to go.
