Memorandum
To: University Community
From: Michael L. Moore, Interim Provost

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gallaudet University is open for classes and regular university business. Please use the 6th Street for entering and leaving the campus.
The Hall Memorial Building (HMB) is open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Current faculty and staff who work in this building has 24/7 access. The ID pass access to HMB had to be completely rebuilt. There may be some glitches; in that case, please contact Sharon Hauptman (sharon.hauptman@gallaudet.edu).
Since the University was closed on last Thursday and Friday, students should check with their instructors/professors about their assignments and make-ups, especially considering that last week was a mid-term week.
The Enrichment Day for the University, originally scheduled for Tuesday, October 17th, is being postponed to a later date; therefore Tuesday is a regular class day.
This past week has been a difficult one for everyone. I am sure there will be more updates, especially considering this weekend is Homecoming. We need to get back on schedule in our primary educational responsibilities.
