Endless Pondering

Urgent: Money Needed

Hi everybody, there’s a serious shortage of money due to the bail outs
of our decidated protesters who were arrested last night. Not only that,
we’re low on food and supplies. There’s a frost advisory tonight so it
is a very dangerous position for our protesters to be exposed to the
cold and the damp.
We desperately need heaters, electric wires, heated tents, and
especially sleeping bags. We also need charcoals to keep our grills
going so we can be warm. We also need hot food such as soup, meat (to be
cooked on the grill), and hot drinks. I’m working right now in trying to
get the red cross and salvation army to come and help. Please contact
Jeanine Wiesblatt at bluesun@tmail.com . Remember, our survival depends
on you. Remember we’re fighting for you like soliders and heroes. We’ll
not give up!

  2. Hmm, I made a measly (just $10, I’m afraid) contribution to the info@gufssa.org Paypal account three days ago that has not yet been claimed. Makes me wonder if there are other unclaimed donations as well…

  3. UNBELIEVEABLE!!! THE PUBLIC RELATIONS PERSON FOR GALLAUDET - MERCY COOGAN CANNOT SIGN WELL - YOU KNOW PR? IT MEANS C O M M U N I C A T I O N!!! AND SHE CAN’T COMMUNICATE WITH DEAF PEOPLE EFFECTIVELY!!! HOW CAN SHE REPRESENT GALLAUDET????????? WHO HIRED HER???? IJK’s ADMINISTRATION!!!! Same problem with Cafeteria workers, not many can sign, and most importantly the DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY (DPS) officers most of them CANNOT S I G N!!!! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

  4. You had your choice to not be arrested and pay that bail.

Poor financial management does not warrant any donations.

  5. oh so mercy has a new “screen” name.. welcome back

  6. If you don’t support our cause, then don’t bother to donate. Keep your opinions to yourself. Every cause has a price, and we collectively agreed that it is worth the move. For those who think too much about politics, finance, and where their money goes obviously has too much world in them. Free themselves and do what is RIGHT!

  7. Jack, why are you here if this blog makes you so unhappy?

  8. this “emergency” has a simple solution — everyone can go have a fun night out with their friends, pizza, and beer, then head for home and sleep in their nice warm comfy beds. Simple, isn’t it?

  11. Don’t you people think the Red Cross/Salvation Army have their hands full already with victims of Katrina who lost everything they had? Get real and get a life!! If you used your money to bails yourselves out…oh well!

  12. To MZ: I am here because it is my right of free speech to be here. I care for gallaudet and want to see everyone go back to work and school. To be quite honest I have never been happier personally. But what you are doing to Gallaudet makes me sick and I have every right to defend it!! If you don’t like the way Gally is going ou may leave as well.
And to Jim: Is this a threat from another peaceful civil protester. You do not want to go there!

  13. Blogs don’t have to allow opposing opinions, but MZ is nice enough to allow it. For example, this pro-IKJ JKF blog is heavily moderated and doesn’t allow opposing viewpoints. I tried to post a response and was blocked.

Hey, if we don’t like what’s going on at Gally, then do something about it. There’s only one Gally, there’s many hearing universities.

  14. I wish someone who is rich to donate $200,000 for Protesters’ needs. I pray for this.
