    LOL, Tim. Way to go. Your arrest made the most signifiance and impression upon this protest! Quite symbolic, I must say. Kathy Say and I got together tonight and kept track of the arrest progress. We both are rooting for our old schoolmates! And Nancy and Kim….we’re rooting for ya too.

    Welcome to reality, there is no free rides, It s as if you wasted time protesting instead of majoring a career to become part of Gallaudet. That s why you cant blame Gallaudet because they cant find enough educated deaf person to run the University. I’ve seen enough that deaf community there are bunch of pathetic people blaming the system. Nobody can beat the system and you will have to work harder like the rest of the world to get there instead of waiting for it to come to you. Of course bein raised from deaf family, fluent in ASL, fluent in speech language I can understand music and enjoy it. Without Gallaudet I have been successful in life without “assisted-help” b.s. I could see so much stupidity going on just to sit & scream like bunch of morons gettin thrown in jail. It was a good laugh watching the news. I choosed to go to normal university than being racist screaming “deaf power”. I wouldnt care who runs the university as long they do the job right. JUST LEARN TO GET ALONG! I ve seen a bozo criticize Dr. Jane K. Fernandes about how she signed but look at this person acting out of stupidity. What is it to be angry for? I m appalled to see that the purpose of “DEAF” is so divided, we re supposed to unite all together no matter how the person is but it will benefit having many types of communications available. Gallaudet is filled with bunch of morons. Once you leave Gallaudet, everything changes and nothing will be same so how will you live your life. I know there will be alot angry people flaring their temper after they read this message, let me say this for once. TOO BAD! =)

    To “Dr I King Jordan is a Hero!” (Previous user) You’re deluded. You’re a sad result of audism. Little ‘d’ people like you should be totally rejected from the Deaf community. Blaming the system? What? Are you retarded? What about audism? What about having 100% communication accessability? What about being truly free? People like you don’t belong in America, and most of all, the Deaf community. Raised in a deaf family? Are you sure? Are you really sure? Are your parents low-functioning? I would think so. You listen to music? Only deaf people that are oppressed by audism would allow their deaf children listen to music. Truly dignified Deaf parents wouldn’t allow their children to look like fools listening to music. Speech? If I could have you stand here in front of me, I’ll use my voice to tell you “fuck you”. Let me make something clear- I can speak very well and I am an expert speechreader. I function so well in the hearing world that people don’t tend to notice that I am Deaf. However, I choose not to use my speech in a lengthy conversation, so that the hearing community can get a taste of what it’s like not to have free accessability. I sign in fluent ASL. Just so that it’s clear I know signed english and pidgin signed english. I don’t use them- they’re communication tools created by audists. It is very obvious that you’re looking out at the world, drooling, wishing to be one of them… One of those clueless hearing ’sheeple’ walking around putting down other people that are different from them. I am an alumni of Gallaudet University, an alumni of RIT/NTID, and an alumni of a community college. In fact, I am currently teaching ASL/Deaf Culture at that same community college. The point of the above statement is that Gallaudet isn’t there to provide “assisted help”, as you put it- It is there to provide full accessability and an audism free zone. This is obviously something you are taking for granted. I wish to all the stars and the planets that every single deaf person in your family passes away soon- and that you’re all left alone… Then you can get a taste of your own medicine, you dumb shit. Let me make something else clear, just so that there are no misunderstandings- there are two sides in the deaf world- a) The fighter- the anti-audist- that’s me and the protestors at Gallaudet University. b) The oppressed- that’s you. The only reason why the Deaf community is divided, is because stupid morons like YOU… STUPID OPPRESSED piece of shit… Are helping the audists win their fight. So, what are you gonna be? A weakling oppressed ‘d’ person that will side with hearing people… Or, a capital fucking “D” that will fight against oppression? Up to ya, bubba.

    to EK #10…just shut up-There’s no such a thing as oppressed deaf people…Gallaudet is for diversity of people NOT only for Deaf but for deaf, hoh and with other disabilities! Double check your grammar before submitting it…the most common problem with “Deaf power” people..their grammar is so bad they dont even know it
