Sioux Falls Tent City!

It's official! We will have a Tent City in support of the FSSA coalition at Gallaudet University in Washington DC. This Tent City will take place this Friday evening (Oct. 13th) at the SDAD Center. Some info tidbits:
  • Event starts at 530pm
  • SDAD Center will start selling snacks and food at 530pm
  • Program with speakers at 6pm
  • Pitch tents outside on the grass parking lot

Media will be invited. We will have talking points ready for participants so our message is consistent. We will also gather money to be sent to the FSSA for their needs--such as students' food and drink while maintaining the HMB lockdown. After the event, you may dismantle your tents.

Let's make sure we have A LOT of tents! We don't want a Tent Village, or a Tent Town, but a TENT CITY!! Bring ALL of your tents! Pup tents, army tents--all sizes are welcome! Let's show our support for a positive outcome at our beloved one and only Deaf University!

I'm afraid it would be almost done by 7:30pm. You can help the cause by contacting your Nebraska Congresspeople, eh?
