I am sick and disgusted with awful tactics that DPS attempted agaist protestors since we locked down HMB. At first, DC Police arrived. Noah Beckman negotiated with DC Police and they both agreed that they can leave HMB building empty while locked out as long as no one is inside HMB except SBG office. When I came back from cafeteria, I came in SBG and saw protestors running around screaming, DPS broke in, DPS broke in!
So I ran and came inside the hall, I saw DPS shoved and tore one of protestor’s shirt in physical abuse. We didnt touched them at all, only creating human chain that they cannot touch us as long as we cannot touch them. Now they got in fight because the protestor was in self-defense. There are so many witnesses who saw this happen. Yes, we got VERY ANGRY because we saw what happened. So we grabbed cameras and digital cameras to gather evidence of what’s happened. We had to call DC Police to come back to protect us because DPS proceeded without DC Police. And Later, that same DPS officer shoved his hand on other protestor’s neck. I was very shock. I am very very upset with that. Is that suppose to be social justice?! Wrong! It’s all wrong! One thing is that this is BIG MIS COMMUNICATION. We found out from this: a bomb threat. We went to the main entrance of SBG office and there was interpreter ready and she even interpret that DPS officer had said in voice that they can use pepper spray against all of us. So we had to tell everyone to page their parent and let them know what’s happening so that way we can use this tactics against them because it’s wrong to do that. Someone called bomb threat prank. Now what’s behind this conspiracy? Is this one of Administration tactics to kick all protestors out of HMB? OKay see for yourself from Public Relatio ns that was send out:
Early this morning some students unlawfully took over HMB. They have been ordered to leave the building. About an hour ago, someone phoned in a bomb threat to the campus, and now DC Police and Gallaudet’s Department of Public Safety are evacuating specific buildings in search of a possible bomb.
President Jordan and President-designate Fernandes assure the campus community that order is being restored so that students, faculty and staff can go to their classes and conduct the business of University in a safe environment.
Those responsible for today’s disruptions will face the consequences of their actions.

What’s wrong with this? There is NO BOMB THREAT! Why would we want to blow up HMB is we want what’s best for Gallaudet. I say BULLSHIT! There will be more stories later to clear this up.
