18th ADA Anniversary Celebration
August 14, 2008 5:53 pm Legislature, NewsRichard Jeffries: Hello. We’re here in Rockville to celebrate the 18th anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The ADA is an important piece of legislation that provides right and access for deaf and hard of hearing people, wheelchair users, and blind people among others. In honor of that, we are here tonight to celebrate the past 18 years of ADA and to look forward to many more years of progress and equal access for all.
