Slowly RETURNING

I am not sure if I decided enough was enough and that I had to give this blog some attention now. Being so busy with work, moving into new house, looking for a new home church and trying to spent more time with God.

This is probably one of the most difficult to do for me as a blogger to do after straying off-schedule. I need to focus what my future topics would be.

1. Deafness:
Audism in terms of those who discriminate or stereotyping against Deaf Culture or hearing-impaired individuals. Audism means a system of practice, behavior, belief, or attitude. I like this quote by Charles Curtis, Bias and prejudice are attitudes to be kept in hand, not attitudes to be avoided.

2. Bias:
Bias is a term used to describe a tendency or preference towards a particular perspective and ideology. A bias could lead one to accept or deny the truth that is often very "one-sided" while ignoring the other. Ever since I started blogging, I have learned more about bloggers and their agendas. Who knew this much before blogging?

3. Multiple Sclerosis:
I had a mild relapse two weeks ago and I was out of work for about a week. The numbness on my left arm and two fingers remains and not sure if they will go away. I am more concern with my sex drive. Lower sex hormones, such as testosterone, is proabably partly responsible for lack of sex drive for men. Also, my electric bill is up due to running the air condition. I am learning to be content as much as I can even though there's a "human flesh" in me that wants more in order to be comfortable and have better & stronger SEX DRIVE.

4. Disabilities:
People with disabilities make up one of the largest minority group in the country, especially withing Christian Churches. Ever since I was aware of my deafness, multiple sclerosis and other disabilities, I kept thinking about how amazing God works in me which have made me stronger in heart and mind. He taught me to be humbled about my life. Today, normal and able people should be aware that that people with disabilities are ordinary people (just like them) with common goals for a home, a job and a family.

5. Political:
With the elections coming up, I will be talking about presidential nominees and other candidates. I am very nuetural when it comes to politics. I don't like telling other people what to do with their lives. I hold conservative positions on most issues but have an underlying worldview of what is happening and make decisions based on them. Today, political parties have unrealistic expectations and an ignorance of the way things really work in politics which is why they are losing. Idealism basically means holding on to a set of beliefs which are a rigid system of the way life is "supposed to be" or "should be". Belief system you have adopted about how things "should be done" which often gets challenged by the way things are in reality.

I will be focusing on issues more than the candidates. My final thoughts on the political system: I have said before and I will say again, political and government systems are NOT the problem, its PEOPLE and their attitudes.

6. My Christian faith:
I have learned so much about doctrines since I was a teen. To this day, I never met a Christian who agrees with my beliefs 100% and I also have not met a Christian who I agree with their beliefs 100%. Including my own wife, my parents and even my Christian mentor.

I will sharing my beliefs. Life's discernment encouraged me to examine my own beliefs. When I was younger, I believed in certain doctrines but now that I am spiritually matured, I have learned the proper doctrines through many sources. We can learn from others who believe such doctrines and examine our own. We are to allow the Holy Spirit to lead us and convict us the truth. Often flesh's desires gets in the way of spirit-lead truth.

7. My new home and my grandchild:
Of course, I will be sharing more information about my new home and the latest news of my growing granddaughter.

Give me time to slowly come back to blogging and get started again. Thanks for being patient with me.

Jim

Glad you are back and will be sharing with us again. God has given you many gifts and writing is one of them. Truly even through your own afflictions and trials, He is equiping you to minister to others. May God guide you as you seek to serve Him through your writings. I am overwhelmed also at times by the various commitments and blogging. Hard to manage my time but learning to commit all to God. So glad you are settling into your new home and so wonderful to have a growing granddaughter. Children and grandchildren are bundles of joy to the family! Take care and God bless!
