This is my first go at a new place to write the wrongs of the world. Pun intended.
I will make this blog my piece of the sphere where I will do what I can to enact change.
I chose the name "Five string Guitar" because I love music, I love the guitar, but in my cochlear implanted challenged world, everything sounds like it's missing a string.
I am a bilateral (both sides) cochlear implanted guy. I am new to this technology.
I became deaf less than a year ago, and have only in the last 90 days been implanted with cochlear implants. I have sound in my life, but it seems like 5 out of 6 strings are what I get in life.
It is what I do with these strings that will make up this blog.
I hope you enjoy

I throughly enjoyed reading the blog of a fellow late life (after 18) cochlear implant recipient and have added your new blog to my RSS feed. I look forward to what you have to say. :)
I'm glad you didn't disappear in cyberspace and leave blogland. I love the idea behind your title.
God bless.
Love it! I've got you bookmarked!
Beautiful site! I'll look forward to beautiful things!
Glad you're still around the blog sphere!
Great blog name with a great story behind it! I love the header too -- very nice. :)
I'm so glad you're still writing, David, and I've got your new site on my RSS feed. Your positive attitude keeps on shining!

Having tried to play with a broken string, I really get your analogy. Off to add you to my RSS feed. :)
I like it already, David.
Welcome back and I look forward to reading more!
Welcome back.
Haven't time to read but will be back after my doctor's appointment this afternoon.
Again Welcome back.
Bear((( )))
Finally getting here to see your new crash pad, David, and I have to say . . . it fits you perfectly.
The Olympics are kicking my blog-reading hiney, but once they're over I can get back on track (ha ha ha, she laughs -- she's never been "on track" in her life).
Cheers!
Laurie
