Don't like the discussions over there on DeafVideo.tv, eh? Interesting since it used to be your and others' sanctuary.
I find it heartening that the Deaf community, for the most part, has made it clear that they want transparency, accountability and the truth from organizations that are supposed to serve the Deaf community.
I personally am also very inspired by the people over on DeafVideo.tv, and I really wish Seesmic would work for me, so I could leave video comments there. They are breaking ground where DeafRead isn't.
Anyway, I hope you feel better after your vlog. I prefer DTS, btw. Deaf Truth Seekers.

Hello Deafpundit, sanctuary? Just like Deaf Village is your sanctuary as well? Grin. I'm glad you find it productive at DVTV these days. I was there from the get go all the way up to last July for fun and social until it got too time consuming to handle. I'll lurk every now and then instead. Well, keep on searching despite that we now know some people like you resigned or left out. I did my part to ask for amends and forgiveness so we can move on. Still waiting. I guess people are free to form their own coalition nowadays if they prefer not to wait. In the meantime, let's have fun before our summer weeks are over.

You love to be sarcastic, don’t you? Smile. I am like that too. I used to be sarcastic too much in the past but I have cut it down.
When Berries first came aboard I listened to him intently and respected that he had rights to share his opinions and feelings. I never had problem with that until he showed some copies of AIM conversation in the public. I have lost my respect for him entirely. Not only that he kept saying he took videos of some vloggers and keep them in his file. He threatened to report to FBI and even mentioned that FBI is investigating into this. He even told one person that he would be willing to send a recent copy of e-mail between him and Ella. I could not accept his behavior like this unless there are some obvious evidences that DBC are doing criminal or threatening individuals lives. With his behaviors I could understand completely that DBC has to stay quiet. I do not like them to do that but I understand where they are coming from. I would have probably done the same thing if I am in their shoes. He also twisted some stories. He accused me for insulting Catholic people without even asking me for clarification. He accused another person recently too. He even twisted words and saying Ella and her team wanted us to be baptized and become Deafhood. That is not the truth. I have good rapport with Ella in the past two years. I always respect her busy schedule. I always wait until the right time to have a good chat with her. She never forced me or poisoned me about joining into Deafhood. She gave me information because she knows that I am interested to learn about it. It is my choice and not hers. It is sad to see everything has turned out in our community. I hope that any individual who has some concerns to contact one of the team to discuss on VP to get some clarification. I am sure they will find the time to do that.

Penny, you know my vlogs can be rich with sarcasm if I can make someone think and laugh at the same time of a certain issue. :) I do sympathize of what you and others have to deal with. Some people think it's a truth campaign and some think it's a smear campaign. I just want this ongoing dilemma to seek closure. It's a free country and people can form their own parties and recruit members to implement their beliefs.

You do make me laugh and think sometimes. I do not disagree with you that people can form their own parties and recruit members to form a new organization. We live in a beautiful country where we have freedom of speech. I am not upset to see some people coming together to discuss new ideas. I am glad they are not sitting on rocky chairs and couches to whine about this and that but to do something. Finally they are doing productive for the community. I believe the more organizations we have the better resources we offer to hearing parents of Deaf child. It is nothing wrong with that.
I just do not like when anyone threatened leaders like getting FBI involved, sending e-mail copies to the public or making leaders do something unless more than 50% members are complaining about certain issues. I can never make an organization to fit my needs. If I am not happy with one organization then I can always look for another organization or form a new one.
I would like to add an example here. If someone work for corporation and tell
co- workers that she is collecting documentation or making notes to report to someone if she did not get what she wanted…rest assure that co workers will avoid at all cost to develop comfortable working relationship with her so I can understand where DBC core team is coming from. They only can post updated information through their website and not through deafvideo.tv or comments. It is dangerous for them because of threatening behaviors lately. It is much safer and protection for people like me to contact them personally and discuss through VP. I am sorry to say this but the DBC core team is doing right thing.

Before you was in Deafvideo.tv, the "room" was so small, Yesterday we broke the barrier wall and now we have many people with different backgrounds to join and share their views.

Mike- Congratulation to you! I am not surprised that you passed Graduate Essay test. You have always been gifted just like your sister (I have not seen her for years...a really sweet gal). You have one more year to go I think...Good for you. You deserve it. It is always hard to go back to school during mid life crises. Smile.

LOL... Yeah I've heard about it as well... I've seen DBC's mouth piece talking about Barry's group. I guess everybody can relate to yummy berries. In reality we all know that I'm only an individual who introduced Hocokan, the Center as a model for the circle and unity... and you guessed it.... it literally took off. Thanks for the humor Mike... we all could use it these days. LOL. Regards!
Furthermore... I never said I could do it with my own strength... that separates me from DBC who apparently think they could do it on their own, without the circle. Lessons learned. Thanks again for the humor... ;)

Perhaps then there's a reason to believe in the circle... that of circular approaches rather than linear approaches, which I explained in my first ever blog, that of Hocokan, the Center.... go figure... even I, myself, am amazed by the power of the people and their circle. Simply amazing.

Smile. Yes I am done with school. Could you imagine that I completed 51 units from 8 weeks summer school and three quarters? I made it!
I learned from my friend who is a Paralegal that several Paralegal have quit their job and Paralegal who are still there have taken over their cases. They won't hire new ones for now. Ouch! Maybe it will be difficult to find Paralegal job until Obama becomes Prez! Who knows what! :-)
That is why I have more time to write comments and annoy everyone LOL! :-)
