Interesting and important information. Now I wonder about some people who thought we should NOT be after AGBell. And now see what they have done to us and our language, ASL! What's next for us I wonder.

I blame NAD. In your previous entry about this NAD decided to put this "on hold."

I admire, I love your vlogs, your debate, your viewpoints. Everything about you is remarkably great.
But, but, but it is unbearable for me to view many of your vlogs posted in DeafRead at once.

From my perspective, Principal seems not allowed any Deaf children who speak put/or express their opinions and rights at any mainstreaming school. Principal felt threatened when young lady Liza Offreda, provided the petitions from hearing and deaf students. Principal do not want to educate hearing kids to let deaf children to gain equal rights. like Gallaudet protest". So principal felt it was time to shut down ASL students as prevent any future problems like Gallaudet protest. Principal may thought petitions for ASL was too immature, but it is FREE COUNTRY!
I had experienced similar like this when I was young. My private school in St. Louis, Principal threatened me to hold me back to repeat grade if I move my hands like a gesture front of oral students. Why I move my hands and gesture because I was doing comedian like exaggerating and made deaf friends laughed.
I wish NAD was more aggressive approach with this NAJD issue. But NAD chose the stupid conference comes first. It was NAD's job to educate and train the hearing people and mainstreaming school about ASL so they will learn and respect ASL students. Not just letting Princapal closed down ASL group and took away their rights.

This shows why the Deaf community needs to be concern about AGBell as they will continue to build a "WALL OF IGNORANT" regardless how innocent AGBell seems while brainwashing the public with fancy clothing and millions of dollars of misleading media press release.

And yet the AGB deniers keep saying "Oh, AGB's not that bad anymore! They don't prohibit ASL anymore! Just leave them alone! They've changed!" Has it? Sure doesn't look like it to me, and if Kathleen Treni follows the same patterns as President of AGB, I would highly doubt it.....
It is time for us to expose AGBell's hidden agenda against natural rights of Deaf babies and their parents.

Blame yourself for not doing anything but talk like a Smart Ass like your friends Barry Sewell, etc.
And don't blame DBC either. NAD needs strong grassroot groups and they will prevail. But you, Barry Sewell, MZ, Amy got the Deaf community confused and the deaf people decided to go back into the closet after being colonialized that it is wrong to speak up about what is right.

Maybe you are not strong enough because Kathleen Treni is a member of AGBell, but strong enough to blame NAD and then degrade DBC and the Deaf community being too empowered to speak up...?

I knew that AGBELL website has a hyperlink of the NAD as a reference, However, AGBELL does not have own research papers that supports the concept of the Deaf or Visual-based Bilingualism and even, does not publish it on AGBell website.

So far, I found some terms of hearing loss testing, speech and listening therapy, hearing aids and oral program schools.
Moreover, what happened to the cultural-related terms of Deaf residential school, Deaf Bilingualism or ASL that are not found in AGBell FAQ?
Please don't deceive yourself from AGBell website because I know that the deceptive practices are constantly applied by AGBell's own media department in order to maintain the stability of the AGBell organization business.

I strongly agree with the previous commenter that we must tear down the WALL OF IGNORANCE.
I think it is very important to make a documenarty about what happened to JR NAD at NJ school. We hope you could able to make a short film for collecting the information from who was president for JR NAD. We REALLY need to have those information then reval to the world about AGBELL and Kathleen, who did terminate JR NAD at her public school.
