Dave's Now Bi

Just a quick post to let you know that Dave's surgery was completed today and he is resting at Sunnybrook Hospital overnight. I'll be picking him up first thing in the morning as he is in the post-op surgery area and they need the space for the morning incoming patients therefore they want him cleared out quickly. I left about 7:30pm after he enjoyed a bowl of soup. He was then going to x-ray to see if placement was okay with implant. I'll let him share the rest of his experience with you once he's up and blogging again. Thanks for all your well wishes.

Janet.

Thank you for the update Janet! I know what it's like to go from the hearing world to a cochlear. My hearing degenerated from a 60dB loss when I was born to over a 100dB by college. I'm kind of scared of the day when the hearing in my left ear gets to the point that I'll need to implant the other side.

Anyway, keep the man off his feet. I hit my scar while it was healing once, not fun. Don't want the first time I hear David's voice to be him screaming across state lines. :)

Cheers! Here's to us, the true 6 million dollar men!
