Famous CODAs

Decided to take a break for myself while kiddies are at day camp and surf the internet.
I was originally looking up famous Oklahomans and found one famous actor who's also a CODA (Child of a Deaf Adult) and decided to compile a list of other CODAs.

- Lon Chaney - "The Man of a Thousand Faces", well known as the Phantom in "Phantom of the Opera" (1925),
- Louise Fletcher - Nurse Ratched in "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" (1975)
- Craig Gass - Stand-Up Comedian
- Robert Gibson - Professional Wrestler
- Richard Griffiths - British Actor played "Uncle Dursley" in "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix"
- Lou Fant - Actor & Sign Language Instructor/Coach
- Ann Miller - Actress and Dancer/Singer
- Prince Philip - Queen Elizabeth's husband

Well that's all I could find which was pretty neat to learn :)

My Deaf grandfather was a messenger for John Dillinger, the notorious mafia boss of Chicago. John Dillinger was a CODA, too!!!!

(raising eyebrows) Mickey Mouse?? Umm..just because he started on a Silent Film doesn't qualify him as a CODA :)

Craig Gass also has deaf sister, Lisa Furr (Tucson, AZ) NTID and Gally Alums.

Wait a minute...

Wikipedia says nothing about
Will Peterson being a CODA, it's his character Gil Grissom who is the CODA, as a convenient way to explain his knowledge of sign language in the one episode with Deanna Bray.
