Amy Cohen Efron explains about Deaf Bilingual Coalition invites National Association of the Deaf’s President Bobbie Beth Scoggins to give a keynote presentation at the conference. Very well posted. Veditz definitely is looking at us from the heavens above with smiles and hand waves knowing that the organization that he has made a such impact on will continue to bring that same impact in the 21st century-preserving our cherished sign language.

Yes!!!! Please don’t forget that DBC movement and NTID Empowerment movement are now fighting against the Imperialisitic AGBell movement in different American cities especially both scheduled conferences happened to be on the SAME weekend for first time in Deaf History !!!

I’m glad this finally has happened since DPN in 1988! Honestly, we should have done this long time ago to make it one big fat organization. A unity! NAD was supposed to be like the DBC model years ago. Finally someone whom founded DBC is going to rock the world!
One exception- If we battle AG Bell, no one will win! We need to learn to be more diplomatic and make them to understand our business. This will make a huge difference! Many times from many different businesses and organization whom battles against each other has always never finish or accomplish their mission statement. It’s true.
If we continue to act like a war like attitude, then AG Bell will make themselves stronger and bolder. DBC will stay the same.

*jaw dropped to the floor* Wow … I am stunned by the both conferences AGB and DBC are held at the same location this weekend. — DBC and AGB must work out slowly on a few important issues. Let’s see how it goes. I heard it went well so far.

After I watched several vlogs and youtube videos about CI. I have mixed feelings. I strongly feel it’s wrong for AGB to identify any parents who give birth to Deaf babies and sign the consent forms on CIs. My personal beliefs, I support individual rights and make own personal choices. To me, putting CI in 6 month old baby’s head is like a force which is against his/her own autonomy. I have spent hours and hours researching and I came to realization that all government who send millions of dollars to AGB and encourage them to expand the number of CIs in many deaf children. This is against the US constitution! Did you know that? Some said US Constitution’s old piece of paper, designed in 1776. If anyone did not complete US history, then that explains why they set a wrong opinion. US Constitution is NOT OLD, it is all up to date with amendments, changes and ratifed languages. It must be used in our government system where Executive, Legistlative and Judical branches run with equal powers and balances. I watched different presidential candidates’ speeches and their websites. None of them impress me except for this one man. He impacts me! I am going to attach his speeches with time frames where he clearly said about personal choices, individual rights, etc. He does not believe in force and violate. FYI, he did not drop out, he just suspended the presidential campaigning so he can be involved in another campaigning for liberty! HE is STILL ELIGIBLE for President! Now it is up to delegates to nominate him at the convention on Sept 1st!
1). Part 5 @ Personal choice, fast forward to 3:00

2). Part 6 @ He said, “When I become US president, I promise I will never use force or violate, it’s clear, will never use these two telling people what to do.” fast forward to 7:55

3). Part 7 @ “Constitution said it’s your rights!”, fast forward to 2:25

Make sure to click “watch in high quality” so you can see ASL interpreter clearly. There are 8 parts of video on his one hour presentation. Worth to watch them all. It’s something that Media and newspaper don’t want you to know… I wish I’m a tech savvy so I can edit and make this into one great summarized video about our Deaf babies’ rights! I’d love to spread it all over the world!

One more thing, from all reading materials and videos, it’s obvious that he’s the only one who is against putting CIs in 6 month old babies. Let me know if you want me to post on where sources I found. Thank you.
