Hello all...Things are going great here in Kentucky, learning by leaps and bounds as I play around with my new VP-200. One of the things that I was informed of today by the installer, that I had not been made aware of before, was a really nice on-line directory for users of the Videophones.
The directory can be located at www.deafVP.com, and you can simply create an account there and control the parameters of who can search for your videophone number or other personal information, even setting parameters for times calls should not be made before or after, asking people to contact you first (via messenger, AIM, etc.) before being able to access your VP number, and so on.
Extremely neat, and I have to say, this is a very user-friendly service. I want to make clear, I'm not receiving any benefit for discussing this service, either monetary or in terms of better services, etc. This is simply being posted by me for the benefit of others like me who may not be aware that this service exists on the internet.
As for the VP-200 itself, I have been very pleasantly surprised thusfar, with the quality of video feed, the features, and so on. I'm not sure of the other videophone capabilities out there, but this one has far exceeded (thusfar) my expectations. Now I'm off again to continue learning more about this world of videophoning that I had been pretty ambivalent towards before.
