The day they took us out of the ocean, they began their experiment. They transported us in trucks with small reservoirs. We sloshed and splashed the whole way to the laboratory. They then grabbed us by our arms and legs and carried us into the pool. We were kept in a large barren tank full of water. One end of the pool had a window and a camera.
There were many of us wondering what it was they had planned to do. We could not understand their words and things they seemed to do with their mouths. They would jabber to one another as they worked with us. They seldom used their hands except to move and do things.
Their focus on us is on our gills which are behind the ears.
A Waterworld?
Yep it is bad ass!
Do they care? HA!
Yeah, it was bad ass until they, the Terra Firmist, decided they wanted to “learn” about us. Now, one by one, they’ve tried to take us out of our world and into these tanks only to later be removed to a walking world. You’re better off they tell ya.
Eye, aye
Forget the swimmer because everything that seems to matter now is life upon the surface.
Forget the deep.
Forget the truth.
Forget the harmony of that world.
You’re hear now in their world.
Are you really?
Some need "A Swimmers Life".
Some Terra Firmist like to swim. That's cool!
Some Swimmers like to walk. That's equally cool!
Just don't try walking on the sea where the swimmers are comfortable.
You'll look pompously silly and the sharks'll surely come!
Look, if you really want to visit, take A Set of Lessons and actually learn to swim.
You'll be better off ;)
WOW: Never trust a scuba diver.

beautiful.
Excellent metaphors! You're referring to the assimilation attempts for the past 128 years... more specifically the past few years since technology has advanced eh.
Nicely done.

Muchas Gracias!
