As I was going through my planner, I noticed that I have my weekends planned out for various events and festivals like Greek festival, Turkish festival, and various other festivals. It got me thinking for short while because there are various deaf related events that are going on this summer like NAD in New Orleans, AGBell in Wisconsin, cued speech camps in various states through country, various cochlear implant camps or get together through the country, and many other events that I can't list because either I forgot or am not aware of.
I always enjoy how people would get together to celebrate and raise awareness of their existence. I guess that I should say that I am going to cued speech camp in Rochester, NY because I am proud that I was raised with cued speech and strong believer in that communication method even if I support all three communication methods (cued speech, signing, oral) equally.
Yes, many people may agree or disagree with me. That's normal. That's what keep the life rollin'! :)
