Maybe people will remember easier how to spell the word dictionary once they know what this word means. Dictionary consists of two parts: diction and ary.
The latter one, also called suffix, means "pertaining to" or "connected with." Diction itself comes from Latin, dictiōnārium, whose part "diction" means word (source:www.dictionary.com). So we can say "Pertaining to" or "Connected with" words. Dictionary is a book consisting of definition of words.
Thanks for letting us know about this website. It will be easier to understand words after knowing the meaning of prefix, suffix, and stem word.

Sometimes I'm not sure how it spells or what word meanings, I go to check at www.dictionary.com and search for a right word to fit the meanings.
Dictionary book is excellent to use because it saves time and it's unique book for anyplace.
I remember I got a mini dictionary for my graduation from my teacher.

Oxford Dictionary is BEST one! You can find any words.

I often use online for dictionary. I am very rebiable on that website often. three dictionary are not always there.. I had to figure where I suppose to start with the words.
It's worth to use if you are stuck with words if you did not take or misplaced a book of dictionary with you in at work or anyplace. Make sense to type website.. Less worry about incorrect words.
I am very useful alot!
