From my Hands to your Hearts…

Dealing with ear tinnitus (ringing)!!!

Posted by chillygurlz on May 28, 2008

Hello all…  how are u all?  i am doing good here…  how was ur memorial day?  my was alright.  we had hamburgers for memorial day almost like everyone else…

Today i want to talk about ear tinnitus…  I noticed one vlogger talked about ear tinnitus so i wanted to talk about it too, his vlog name is North True, at  http://northtrue.blogspot.com/2008/05/your-ear-ringinig-no-matter-youre-deaf.html   ear tinnitus can be annoying and painful.  I always had problems with my ear ringing and makes background noise inside like i hear heartbeats, there times it extreme loud while other times it quiet.  when i put on my hearing aid, it seems to make the “heartbeat” noise louder.  those “heartbeat” noise i hear in my ear is 24/7 making noise and it can be annoying.  nothing really tiggers my ears to ring or make noise inside.  it just happens at randoms.  i did some research, i also heard from someone that, deaf people who have problems with tinnitus in ear,  it cuz we can’t hear so our brain has to make up some sound to keep itself busy and in rhythm like the brain is listening to music in a way lol…  but yes it is annoying.  funny thing is, my left ear, which is totally deaf, never had any ringing problems at all my whole life.  my right ear is deaf but not totally like my left ear as i can use my hearing aid in right ear only.  why do we deal with ear tinnitus?  so what about u guys?  do u deal with ringing or sounds in ear all the time or just sometime?  how do u guys deal with it?  does anything tigger your ears to make ringing sound or other sounds inside the ear?   alright thanks for watching my vlog…

I understand how you feel because my brother in law went thru the same problem years ago.. even he had alot of dizzy. He went to different doctors until one doctor suggested to have the surgery. Brother in law was so risk to go thru the surgery and it was so successful. No more ringing. He is very happy now.
It was very rough on him for a while.Glad that he is doing fine.

    Hi Chillygurlz,

I am very glad to see you are bringing attention to tinnitus, a problem that millions of people suffer from. And in some cases, as you know, it can be so severe that it affects your daily life. You and your readers may find some relief from Lipo-Flavonoid, a nutritional supplement created by an ear, nose and throat (ENT) doctor that contains a special blend of vitamins that promotes ear health and microcirculation of the inner ear. ENT’s have been recommending Lipo-Flavonoid for treating tinnitus symptoms since the 60’s and many report 7 out of 10 patients show an improvement with tinnitus symptoms after taking it as directed. As any sufferer knows , any improvement is good, however, not all tinnitus patients will have improvement. There is a lot more information about tinnitus and Lipo-Flavonoid at http://www.stopearringing.com if you or anyone else is interested in learning more. We encourage tinnitus sufferers to share their Lipo-Flavonoid experience with us, too. You can contact the Lipo-Flavonoid team directly at thelipoflavonoidteam@lipoflavonoid.com. We look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks ~Laura Giardina, on behalf of the Lipo-Flavonoid Team.

Once I lost my hearing aids when I was in High School. That’s how did ringing start in my ears for 25 years, Of course it had been caused to get me dizziness 3 or 4 times a year include lost my balance plus exhausted for all the day. I moved to different state 5 years ago. 2 years later, I started to see my VR counselor if they give me full support for hearing aids. Yes they did pay hearing aids for me. in begin, I noticed that the ringing has been stopping include dizziness. Hooray. I think my hearing aids cure me. smile

I didn’t agree with you first, but last paragraph makes sense for me…

I know how you feel because I have it, too for more than 25 years. I saw some ent but they told me there was no cure for it I have to live with it. I had to learn how to deal it by buying a radio or ipod to listen music it helps me feel more relax or less louder ringing but I can’t carry radio or ipod all the time. I turned on music in my car all the time whenever I ride or drive. I lost my hearing aid many years ago so maybe I should try to get one.

Last June I started not able to stand it anymore I decided to check with alternative doctor like acupuncturist. I did go 4 times in one month but still not help me at all. I will plan to see specialist at dentist I forget what to call it they can check my jaw, etc since I had tmj in the past. I did research and found out that it was sometime causing tinnitus. They said they will let me know if I can be treated to get improvement or not. I will see them on August 19th. I will ask them about mouthguard if it will help me before they start to treat me. This treatment will cost me around 10k. I will check with my kaiser if they can pay me for it. I have not tried mouthguard yet.

When I am under pressure, my ringing gets louder so I must go get music to help to mask it. It is sometime hard to focus to what everyone is talking to me even me talking to them. My ringing sounds are not always same.

I thought I should have a deaf support group with tinnitus so we can help each other how to deal with it. I really need HELP to find CURE now. I pray one day very very soon it will be stopped FOREVER.

I hope someone at your blog or vlog will tell us how to deal it better or find a 100% cure. I saw http://www.t-gone I was not sure if it will help me and not sure which one I should take it. It may be gimmick.

Thank you for bringing it up here.

    Thanks.
