I get it EVERYDAY ... I usually wear my hearing aid but it gets me a dizzy easily. During my bedtime, Listening to the CD player - many relaxing sounds -- such as wolves howling, waterfall, birds chirping etc and it helps. Again Medicine helps too

mostly no, fortunately. if loud music, i would get it for sure. sometimes for no reasons, it just blares in my mind. i freaks me out. ha. i dont wear hearing aids because of that reason. it makes it worse. so for me absolute silence keeps my tinnitus at bay.

I know one of my deaf friend dealt with his own tinnius problem. He seems handled it very well.

I could imagine how dread for havint tinninus in despite of your deafness like endless water drops on human forehead or arm or back.

That would unsettle me by getting me on real nerves!

FYI, you mispelled "ringing" on your blog title. Nobody is perfect.

Sometimes I feel like there is a little man screaming inside my ears like AAAAAAAAAHHH. Sometimes I have strange noise in my head like machine running. Sometimes there is music in my head which I don't mind. When I take the pain pills for my pain knees, I hear strange noise like MMMMMMMMMMMMM! I hate that. I have been used to it since I was a little girl. I have it everyday.

I have dealt with Tinnitus all my life. My worst episode lasted about seven month non stop. It sounded like I had a train roaring in my ear. There were times I thought I was going to go insane with just how loud it was.

I had tinnitus in both of my ears while I was growing up as a kid. It bothered me so much especially at night during bedtime. I could not sleep very well due to the background noises in my head that had accumulated various sounds from the daytime. Sounds like an echo bouncing off the walls inside my memory bank. I never wear hearing aid at night and it still doesn't help. The ringing in my ears got so bad when I got older and it caused me to have panic attacks because it wouldn't stop. It started to effect my school grades so I decided to stop wearing hearing aid for good at age 13. The ringing in my ears stopped after that. Thank God.
