Mrs. McCluskey of ABC-TV's 'Desperate Housewives" Will Be Hard of Hearing Next Fall 2008 Season

Mrs. McCluskey, a fictional character of ABC-TV's "Desperate Housewives" will be hard of hearing next Fall 2008 television season 5. She was used to be a loathing character, then evolved into the well-liked character.

That will be very interesting to see this character dealing with hard of hearing in the age of human enhancement, ex. cochlear implant. Will she have to learn some ASL or wear hearing aid or undergo the CI surgery? How the characters on the Wistera Lane will treat Mrs. McCluskey's hearing loss? Will the gay couples dispatch their deaf friends from the big city to help the poor neighbor (Mrs. McCluskey)?

The final season episode of last Sunday night's "DH" took the bizarre twist like the quantum leap into five years later. Many viewers expressed sigh about the absence of Mike Delfino character for next "DH' season. Actor Gale Harold of Showtime's "QAF" appeared with Susan in his arms from that final season episode.

Marlee Maltin appeared in the past "DH" during the second season. MM brilliantly played the "no-prisoner" deaf character due to such misunderstandings between her character and Lynette. She shocked the Lynette character with her use of swear words in front of the character's daughter. How hilarious!

This ABC-TV series already have the blind character from this mid season's tornado incident. This visual-turned blind character somewhat displayed such stereotype about blind people in general, ex. superbu hearing and smelling ability.

The creators of "DH" want to end the Desperate Housewives t.v. series by the Season 7.
