Joan: "What do you think of Cold Case last night?"
John: "I think CBS should hired that Deaf blogger from Deaf Anthology to write a better script."
Joan: "I will contact Smokey (sending an e-mail on her Sidekick) to see if he'll accept the challenge."
This is Smokey, this is an alternative script of Cold Case, Deaf Anthology version, only available on Deafread."
John: "Joan, the news..."
CNN: "A body of a Deaf teenager, Andy, age 17, a student of MSSD (Model Secondary School for the Deaf), missing since the prom was found in Ocean City, Maryland, it is assume he may have drowned, no foul play suspected."
Jason: "That's one of Jim buddies, tough guy, into rugby."
CNN: "The body was transferred to Baltimore for an autopsy, was last seen at the prom with his girlfriend, a popular cheerleader, both met at Camp Aspen last summer and have been dating since. Homicide haven't been ruled out, detectives are on Gallaudet campus interviewing the students while waiting for a report from the coroner."
MSSD Coach: "You wouldn't want Andy to be your opponent on the wrestling mat, the football field, ...been getting sport scholarships from every major universities in the country, but he decided to follow his Deaf parents footsteps to Gallaudet."
Jim: "Andy was my peer counselor when I was a freshman..."
Frederick, Maryland
Lily: "I'm Lily, this is my partner Valens, we are detectives from Philadelphia, on loan to assist the Maryland authorities, assigned to this case because of our previous experience with a similar cold case involving a Deaf crime victim. Your son, Andy, didn't drowned as originally suspected, it's now a homicide, here the details..."
Andy's father: "Andy's girlfriend must be devastated."
Valens: "We'll interview her, since she was last seen with Andy at the prom."
MSSD, Washington, DC
Faculty advisor: "These are the photos from the prom taken by our yearbook student staff, I just don't think..."
Lily: "Who's the guy in the background?" (pointing on a photo)
Faculty advisor: "That's Carlos with the CI, recently transferred from a mainstreamed program at a high school in Frederick."
CNN: "MSSD classes cancelled, as grief counselors are assisting the students to deal the tragedy. Parents are being notified with periodical updates on the situation. This cold case have no suspects nor motives."
Lily: "Can you identified the guy in this photo..."
Andy's girlfriend (name withheld): "That's Carlos, Andy's best friend, he's been stalking me, I filed a sexual harassment report but no action taken..."
Jim: "Carlos, my roommate, came back from Ocean City with a torn shirt, when I questioned him, he did a Hulk impression, he was send home, grieving over the loss of his best friend." (search warrant shown, torn shirt and computer files, anything that may implicate Carlos were send to the crime lab in Baltimore)
Lily: "Anything else?"
Jim: "I met Carlos in Frederick at the Deafnation Expo, he seems like a loner, introduced him to Andy who encouraged him to transferred to MSSD. He seems envious, seeing that we have a social life, having a CI, Carlos wasn't able to join the football team because of the liability issue, a district policy, only sports that don't involved contact was chess. Depressed, having no friends, his parents takes pride in his speech ability even though they don't understand him."
Coroner: "It's a match!"
Valens: "Let's collar him." (using a cell phone)
Frederick, Maryland
Carlos' father: "Carlos, these detectives want to talk to you, hope you not into underage drinking again..." (A Civic left the garage, speeding north on Interstate 70 at high speed, clocked at 95 mph)
Valens: "We need backup, a Civic, Maryland license plate, CI KID..." (helicopter overhead with a searchlight)
John: "Joan, the news..."
CNN: "Now live, a high speed police chase on Interstate 70, north of Frederick, the suspect, Carlos is wanted in the murder of Andy, age 17, a MSSD student, whose body was found at Ocean City yesterday..."
Jeffrey: "This is better than the OJ chase!"
Jim: "No wonder Carlos been practicing at the arcade..."
CNN: "The chase is finally over, Pennsylvania State Trooper have taken the suspect into custody, after he crashed into a Holiday Inn Express in Breezewood, Pennsylvania, landing in the bottom of their indoor pool, no casualties reported, extradition hearing is set for tomorrow morning, Carlos (still soaking wet) waived his rights."
Lily: "You are being charged with the murder of Andy, you have the right to remain silent, court will appoint you a public defender...(Ricky on the scene interpreting)...witnesses saw you both fighting the night of the prom, we found the torn shirt..."
Carlos: "Friends sometimes argue, but murder not, I'm innocent, you got nothing on me."
Valens: "We found the murder weapon, a crowbar with Andy's blood left at the campsite of Greenbelt National Park, that you guys reserved occasionally, blood was also found in the trunk of your Civic where you transported the body to Ocean City. The evidence that will convict you is the thread, not from the torn shirt, but Andy's Speedo swimwear found in your trunk."
CNN: "Carlos confessed to the murder of Andy, age 17, a MSSD student whose body was found at Ocean City..."
Joan: "Don't forget we will take a Metroliner on Tuesday, as we have a Family as Partners meeting at MSSD."
Jason and Jeffrey: "We can watch our brother, Jim, during baseball practice, they are preparing for the Hoy Tournament at Frederick."
John: "Carlos was convicted and sentenced to life without parole, MSSD returns to normal, this Cold Case finally closed."
