    Kathy,

I learn very recently that Shelly passed away from grave illness. I think The family plan to have autospy.

My friend say he heard rumor. but he say not sure about the autospy.

Our pray for her family and her partner.

This is sad....I watched her as a gladiator when I was younger. I started to think about her few times after the new Gladiator game reappeared about two months ago.

Hope all goes well for everyone in her circle.

For those who havent met her in person, she was a nice fella and big hearted person. The first time I met her at WDT (World Deaf Timberfest) when I was a children entertainment coordinator, she came up to our area greeting CODAs and Deaf/HoH kids. Great role models to those youngsters. She signed ASL well. Later that night she gave performance doing some dances and showing off her big muscles. Everyone at the camp were impressed. We will miss her!

I'm surprised. A woman with that kind of physique should live a long and joyous life. I'm sorry to see it cut off so soon, and my condolences to her family and loved ones.

I thought about her when I watched the recent American Gladiator run on NBC, and wondered what she was up to. May she rest in peace.

While her family is very deserving of the condolences of this loss, I would be sinning by silence if I didn't bring up the issue of steroids that could possibly be one of the factors.

It has been a few hours since I learned of Shelley's death. I am shocked and saddend. Knowing the impact is harder on her loved ones.

Kathy, I believe we are talking about the WDT that Shelley did her show. I remember watching her getting ready for the show. We talked about what she needs to do.

    Rest in peace, Shelley.

OCDAC; Point taken. Shelley has history of BIPOLAR. It is documented on various site. In fact, she is listed as famous person having BIPOLAR.

It is amazing what she has done with her life, despite her BIPOLAR. She truly has done alot.

True, ther are quite a bit of whispering "steroid".

If you truly want to know more, may I suggest "search" on Shelley. Idid.

My deepest sympathy to Shelly's family. She will be greatly missed.

Richard, shame on you to bring this up! It is not the time to talk about it but to express our grief and sorrow. Where is your common sense?

Does anyone think she had illness due to earlier steroid use?
