Of course, Next time you could say your names before make a call. I have similiar. but quiet difference, Two companies annoyed and thought it was Telemarket. it was not true.. Just VRS responsible to let them know what it is meaning! I have trouble few time.
but afterward No problem. It is better than TTY Relay Service is one of most worst!

Yes, I agree. I like to give my name at the very beginning and tell the interpreter to start with my name before introducing the VRS service. It helps the person on the other end feel the call is more personal and no so mechanical. The chances of them hanging up right away are significantly less.

i often request vrs to not explain relay service but what u said make much more sense .. did u make comment at vrs website about that?
