Hello Everyone, it has been ages since I last posted. Actually a few months ago. A few issues -- Deaf Fest 2007 in NJ, Preserve ASL, and Marcel Marceau.
Oh yes, I agree with editing part.. Now you see how I feel with Hell's Kitchen! HA HA
Aw.. that sounds so much fun at Deafest! I want to go next time!! Yes, I agreed that the more hearing children they bring in, the better future it will be for us.
It is good to see you again. You got it right that editing is time consume, but it will be worth when you complete it. The most of time spend on editing is "I think :15 look good, but :11 has good end. However, :13 is logic area to cut." :)
First big Welcome Baaack!! Wow I understand that you were so busy man!! Thanks so much for sharing us with your awesome Deaf Fest FUN experiences! COOL!
Yesterday morning (Sunday) I happened to got email from one of the very ACTIVE Deaf federal worker from the east coast and got spread the announcement news to us, the busy Deaf federal workers about Marcel Marceau when I was away from my home.
I want to thank you so much for your touchable experience meeting Marcel Marceau about 35 years ago in Princeton University because you did touched my heart!!!! I am so glad that you did met him in your life!!! Wow, you are so DARN LUCKY DEAF MAN that you did already met him in your lifetime because I have not meet him in my life!!! You have so awesome experience personal story to share with us!!
I did enjoy to learn about Marcel Marceau from reading on this copied and pasted link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marcel_Marceau
I am going to send my email with your vlog to let my Deaf husband know that you are BACK because I know that he is too BUSY with his own schedule too!
It is so good to see you resume your vlog after a long period of hibernation!
I am so very much impressed with Deafest in NJ. The number, 3,500 was really a lot! Deaf people have begun to wake up and want to preserve the deaf history.
White Ghost, since I vlogged more often than Judge, I had to put up with his wisecracks in my blog. So when he finally vlogged, I give a wisecrack back! :)
Ahemm (relieving my hands) ...I just happened to notice that out of the past few months, the highest you had produced was only a mere three. Do you think you could do more than that from now on?
Also I noticed you added editing props..IMovie, heh?
Hey Judge, can't wait to see what you're working on, that you filmed at Deaf Fest...I know many of us had a great time that went there. I enjoyed my time there plus the perfect weather, the food was great! I happened to meet a hearing woman, who brought along her deaf daughter who's 11. She wanted to know about summer camp, so as we were talking, she told me she has four children, all are deaf. I was floored cuz it's her first time to go to Deaf Fest, and never has felt the need to learn ASL to communicate, she understands her children's signing but she's unable to learn ASL. Her coming to Deaf Fest has made a huge impact on her...she had no idea that there was a large deaf community that had gathered there. She said she wanted to learn ASL to communicate better with her four children. I told her that her children will be SO blessed if she will make an effort to take ASL classes and use it. She felt encouraged and I hope she's going to do that. Like you said about hearing family that attended Deaf Fest, as they wanted to learn different culture...it is so worth it...we will never know how many people will be impacted by getting involved in Deaf events such as Deaf Fest, like these people have be touched! Well done!! And welcome back to vlogging! Next case please! :-)
