RID Conference at San Francisco
Thank God its Friday!
I just got back from a week-long business trip from California. I spent the first four days, working as an actress/sign model for Dawn Sign Press’project called, “ASL at Work.” It was wonderful bumping into old (and new) faces such as Antionette Abbamonte, Mark Morales, Lisa Hermatz, Danny Lucero, and several others… I was super impressed with how Dawn Sign have treated us. We all were well-rested, fed, and pampered enough to endure 10 hours of labor per day. It was a lot of fun.
When done, I flew out to San Francisco to do a show at RID National convention. There were approximately 1,500 patrons at the closing ceremony–my largest audience ever. Suffice to say, it was one helluva experiene for me (if not nerve-wrecking!). I had the most fun doing the show—the crowd was awesome. I wish I had some pictures to post it in here but I was too nervous to remember. I’m hoping to to get a copy of my show so that I can post some of my footages here.
Nonetheless, I’m back home with my family and am looking forward to a day rest so that I can tackle some of my projects that has been gathering dust for the past few months. *sigh*
I wanted to thank you all for your kind remarks and most of all, for your support. It makes all the small stuff seems worthwhile.
Be well,
Rosa Lee

I was one of the interpreters in the audience at the RID closing ceremony….and your show was one of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time! I think you are an extremly talented and multi-dimensional performer. My friends and I all raved about the show!
I was truly entertained the entire time. Please post the American Deaf Idol video because that was hilarious!
I look forward to you sharing more of your creative gifts with us. You and Damon Timm make quite a team. Best of luck with your future endeavors.
All the best,
