My deaf friend auditioned for the "Deal Or No Deal" game show last Saturday and got called for the 2nd audition, this time bringing up to 7 supporters, including the interpreters. She asked me to be one of her supporters and I went to the audition with her. It was an interesting experience!

Note: You might WANT to turn off the sounds - lots of noises here! Kids have their day off from school! :) That's why I was making weird expressions 'cause the phone was ringing, ringing, ringing and no one was picking it up!

Whoa! This person is representing the deaf community. Go for it! We are behind your friend. Let us know the result whether he/she makes it or not.
The deaf community needs to have the world to recognize us that we can do it!

My kids and I love to watch that show. We sometime play bet before she pick number. Shall say Deal or No Deal. We have fun to dig deep what our thoughts would be.

Cool-- I've never heard of the game (figures-- I don't watch TV!), but it was interesting to hear you describe the audition process.

My girlfriend and I ***LOVE*** to watch this show...we sit with our SideKicks and AIM back and forth to each other while watching it!
We have talked about how cool it would be to have a Deaf person on this show - I really hope your friend makes it!

I always do my vcr/dvd combo to make copy tv record for my favorite show from Deal or No Deal every monday. I hope your friend will make it to enter to win. One of my good friend's other friend (deaf)from Florida supposed be on real live appearance with Howie but I think she may failed for audition and I will find out what happened.

My son's former assistant football coach and almost all football players were on the program a couple of months back. We sure had fun rooting for him but he did not get very far as to winning the money.
