T-Mobile Sidekick 3

Have you ever been disappointed when you bought a tech gadget and a brand new one came out soon afterwards? The bad news – this tells us that technology is about to outpace us (and our wallet). Luckily for us, a new version of the Sidekick doesn’t come out extremely soon after the old Sidekick. Sidekick 3 came out recently. Any word on Sidekick 4 yet? It probably won’t be around for another two or three years. Or, horror of horrors, Sidekick 3 is quite possibly the last stop of the Sidekick fad.

It is time to buy a Sidekick 3 for yourself. Why? Like I said, it is the most recently released version of the Sidekick. A lot of Sidekick users are frustrated with the Sidekick 2, due to its inability to endure heavy or long-lasting usage. You can always tell if a person is a heavy or long –using Sidekick 2 user, by seeing the keyboard popping off from the device. Every time the user tries to type something, the user creates a tidal wave out of the rubberized keyboard. For some users, their Sidekicks are missing some letters or some letters are faded. Sometimes a Blackberry user forgets their pager and asks to borrow their friend’s Sidekick 2. The Blackberry user asks the Sidekick user – “Hmm, where’s the R button?” The rubberized keyboard on the Sidekick 2 is definitely not designed for heavy or frequent users like us. Solution? Sidekick 3 came out with a far better keyboard. This time, each letter is securely held down by an overlying plastic template. In addition to that, a protective plastic casing covers each letter, helping to make sure it will last a long time. Due to these new features, you will never again experience the tidal wave like you do with Sidekick 2. What’s even better? A Blackberry user would never have a problem finding the letter to press.
Nowadays, we all have our own favorite websites that we check up on a daily basis. Many people, including myself, would surf the website on their pager. I am more than sure you have had a moment where you had the desire to check a website when you were at work having the meeting, or maybe at school listening to the professor’s lengthy lecture. I have gone to a T-Mobile store with my friend (a former Sidekick 2 user). He brought his Sidekick 2 along with him. I asked for the Sidekick 3 demonstration, the T-Mobile representative had his own Sidekick 3. So we had the real thing in our hands, we decided to have a quick test. My friend and I chose a website. We typed in the link and pressed the “go to” at the same time. The Sidekick 3 came up with the website seconds faster. This is a feature that is definitely worth the money, especially in our lives today when time equals money.

Another awesome thing about the new Sidekick 3 is it not only has the AOL instant messenger and Yahoo instant messenger of the Sidekick 2, but it has MSN instant messenger, too! Never miss a beat! With these three instant messenger services, you’ll always be just a click away from visiting with family and friends.

Another cool feature on Sidekick 3 is the wallpaper! You don’t get to have just the screen saver when your pager goes idle, but you can have the wallpaper for your main screen. Your beloved mother raised you, so you should probably keep a picture of her on your wallpaper to remind you what a wonderful mother she is.

Both Sidekick 2 and 3 have the built-in digital camera. The camera, which I like to call the “cryogenic time freezer”, lets you save those many moments in time that we find precious or inspiring. We all want to freeze that perfect moment and preserve the memory by taking a picture to remind ourselves once in a while. That probably doesn’t work for you if you only take a freaky or cool picture once in a blue moon. You don’t want to show your friend a fuzzy or blurred picture from your Sidekick 2, do you?? The Sidekick 2 built-in camera captures the moment with just 0.3 megapixels. “Look! I saw the UFO earlier today.” Your friend says, “Well the picture isn’t showing it clearly. It looks like a close-up picture of dog’s nose.” Sidekick 3 supplies the new and improved 1.3 megapixel built-in camera!

Last but not least, for those of your who have almost gotten busted for using your pager at work or school (to chat on IM, or take a quick picture to send to a friend, or to check your favorite website), don’t you think it’s time for you to get this sleek new model where you are more likely to get away with it? (I am not guaranteeing anything.)

These are just a few of the awesome features that make the new Sidekick 3 a far better device than the old Sidekick 2. When it all comes down to it, Sidekick 3 is faster, more versatile, and just doggone better looking than the Sidekick 2. It’s time to break the chains and jump into the 21st century.

I had both SK 1 and 2, I do not like SK because of few problem such as too small fonts, Cant adjust to various size of fonts. I love Blackberry becasue I can change size of fonts so easy to read. And also about the “lock and password” private not want people see it when get message, all SK you can see top corner on your right side when get message you can read it. That not private. Blackberry when you set lock and password you cant see any message when people sent. I love Blackberry. I hope SK will do better next time.

I agree with LSKDJF about stop crying about SK stuff. I know sick of it the SK-2
keyboard is plastic. BUT I’ll live with it
for now till I get new SK-3 if I can afford.
I also like SK-3 as the keyboard is better like the old SK-1. BUT SK-1 technology problem with drum wheel and same with SK-2. So now SK-3 seem better. Someone said will there be SK-4 should add the fonts hopefully. I love SK myself anyway. Keep up more features for next SK-4!

I like sidekick 2 better because of blackberry charge for aim message, and no camera . Also, make sure you ask for “deaf program” before purchasing a new blackberry or other kind of LG cell phone with key boards. “Deaf program’ provide VP relay, IP relay thur by t-moible for sidekick and blackberry.

I have a sidekick 3 & its kind of letting me down. I thought u could put pics up with ur messaging & no alarm & no picture messaging? What about the sucky camera? It looks cool & sleek more advanced etc, but its a beautiful let down. I bet if there is a sidekick 4 though it will be great.
