We must vigorously demand for the removal of IKJ and his wife’s name on the university buildings and let the proper due process for honoring individuals.

You are right and this is terrible. The couple is evil and jumped ship and Gallaudet is sinking. They are so arrogant. Plus King Jordan damaged so many people at Gallaudet by arresting them. Now he wants the students to learn in a building named after himself illegally and one named after his wife illegally?
Board of Trustees need to get their act together. Too many loopholes and it is time for the Board of Trustees to fill in the holes. If they want to be trusted they have to practice what they preach.

I was on my way from HMB going to SAC and I saw other new one on the SAC named after Jordan (after ex prez-des was terminated). He can break the rules as he wishes. The Jordans are sick people.

SLCC is a central building on the campus where almost all the staff, faculty, students, and visitors go through daily. It reminds of the communist countries where they have the statues everywhere that the people can’t miss everyday under the communist’s iron hands.
IKJ’s name needs to be removed and returns to the name of Ely Center. And also, remove IKJ’s wife too.

Definetly, we need to establishment a petition to removal all of Jordan and his wife’s name from the sign each of those bldgs.
They think that they are important people, hell no way. They had been such oppression on us to destroy our Deaf history and language.
