Gallaudet University Board of Trustees have selected Dr. Robert Davila to be the interim President of Gallaudet. Congratulations, Dr. Davila. I knew he is the obvious choice few days ago, but I took a wait-n-see approach to it, out of respect for Weiner and Marshall.

Oops, did I let the cat outta the bag?

No matter. Gallaudet got a good man with an impressive background. Let's hope he becomes the outsider with the insider connections for the good and the future of Gallaudet University.

“I am honored to once again serve my alma mater,” Dr. Davila said. “I am fortunate to possess the energy, drive and dedication that will be required to lead our University over the coming months. I will seek to bring support and benefit to all constituent groups on campus and beyond.”
