| There was interesting posting by Tayler Mayer about "Would you prefer a hearing president?".......I would say, "NO THANKS TO HEARING PRESIDENT!".....We have had enough of audism going on for so many years! We need Deaf president!......We were fooled and Jordan must have been a Trojan Horse for audists back in 1988... He lied to us and he used us....so Jane Fernandes is the second Trojan Horse for audists! No way on Earth would it happen again....just like this quote, "Fool Us Once Shame on You-Fool Us Twice, Shame on us".....Now with Jordan and Fernandes, we cannot afford it anymore....We will appreciate having Deaf president...a better Deaf president....according to Tayler's quote..I can agree that we need to have a candidate being deaf, as he or she understands what it is like to be deaf...and having exceptional leadership to lead the university, our cultural mecca, into the future"....No thanks to hearing president please!...however if it is only on interim basis til we find qualified Deaf president..then I might go for it with conditions....thanks!...UNITY FOR GALLAUDET! |
