  1. I don’t think so that the protestors will be marched on the street on the way to the Capitol tomrrow or Saturday. Well, the prominent people around the Capitol are hearing - not Deaf. I wonder hearing people would understand the situations in the crisis of the Gally protestors? Or the hearing people are not interested in hearing what matters with Gally protestors’ situation toward an incoming president, Jane Fernandes. Except the newspaper reporters and local DC TV news crew, they possiblly understand. How to impress the prominent people in the Capitol area?

Hopefully to understand the protestors’ situation tomorrow or Saturday. :)

  2. Oh, the reporters are reporting more accurately now than before. More hearing bloggers are commenting on the deaf bloggers’ coverage of the protest and the media reporters are now hearing about these bloggers. This protest is also covered in national TV media, so I’m sure some congressional people are aware of the protest.

  4. That is correct, Mishka. They would strongly support the Gally protestors for sure? Who are they? Senates, House of Representatives and other law makers. That is why I can’t comment of the Gally’s rally toward the Capitol. Jane Fernandes keeps continuing to be ignored because she wants to be herself away from protestors’ complaint. Can’t help :(

  5. The Congressional people can’t remove Jane Fernandes.

  6. Bay Area,
i would like to suggest you read the archives MZ posted. There are articles proving the hearies do “hear” us. This morning’s post by MZ explained the best sources from Deaf perspectives are MZ and other bloggers. Not only Deaf perspective but the constant updating all day, keeping up with the most latest news helps the hearies as well. Believe me, we should pass the word to as many hearies as possible. That is one of many ways to support the protestors by spreading the word by forwarding mishkazena.wordpress.com

Let’s go! Let’s go! come on… forward the link to as many hearies you know of. Families with hearing members, ask them to forward the link to their friends!

Go! GO GO GO! RAH RAH!

  7. Since Congress provides the majority of the funding Gallaudet receives to operate its facility, Gallaudet must respond to Congress
