ASL is a gift. It is my purpose to share this gift.
Adrian 4 ASL "As long as we have deaf people on earth, we will have signs. And as long as we have our films, we can preserve signs in their old purity. It is my hope that we will all love and guard our beautiful sign language as the noblest gift God has given to deaf people."—George Veditz, 1913

TRENDING! Why Bill C-81 Matters
Adrian 4 ASL This has been all over my facebook lately so I figured I would share this to spread awareness. Â The Canadian Deaf community is overjoyed with the milestone of BIll C-81 passing into law on June 24th 2019. Toddler Twins signing ASL!
Adrian 4 ASL In Fall of 1980, Roger and I were 1 1/2 year old. We were in Montreal with Dad and he took us to visit Grandpa's workplace at CBC Studio. In the studio, we could see ourselves on the TV besides the videocamera. We could see what you see in the videoclip and we are signing about what we see. Observe how we already have right-hand dominance in our ASL signing and how th...

Hairclips for better ASL!

When signers have hair styles that easily falls in fr...

Earplugs for better ASL!
Adrian 4 ASL ASL is natural for Deaf people because it is a visual language, requiring no sound. Why do Deafies who learn ASL later in life, seem to pick it up much quickly than their hearing counterparts? Because they don't have sounds distracting them? If the Hearies insist that Deaf people wear hearing devices so they can learn English aurally, and in turn, speak English.. ......
