Acupuncture for me as a young Deaf girl in the early 70's.
Here I am ... What an unhappy experience. My parents took me to see the Chinese doctor for acupuncture in the dry cold Fall/Winter of the early 70's--- Every Thursday for a few months. Free laundry for us at Memorial Hall - Gallaudet NWC

Here I am ... During my '84 NWC of Gallaudet, As a new Deaf signer, I was pretty baffled by one of my friends who grew up in a small Deaf school. She told me she signs PSE which I had never heard.
